  • Is SakoonConnect like other dating platforms?
No, SakoonConnect isn’t a dating app or mixer. We offer structured, in-person events for those serious about marriage, ensuring sincerity and clarity in every interaction.
  • Who is the ideal attendee for SakoonConnect events?
SakoonConnect events are perfect for individuals who are tired of casual dating, swiping, and ghosting. If you are faith-based or value-aligned and are looking for a serious, real-life connection leading to marriage, this is the right place for you.
  • Why did Awais, the CEO & Founder, start SakoonConnect?
I started SakoonConnect because I know how tough it is to find the right partner today, especially if you value depth, respect, and genuine intention. This platform is for driven, purpose-led individuals ready for serious commitment. SakoonConnect is more than an event; it’s a movement. For many, it’s the start of something real and lasting.
  • Are faith-based values respected at SakoonConnect events?
Absolutely. Our events are designed to be respectful, alcohol-free, and well-structured. They cater to both faith-based individuals, including Muslims who may wish to bring a wali, and non-faith-based singles who value intentional and serious environments.
  • How does SakoonConnect handle my personal information?
We use your personal data strictly for vetting and coordinating events. We never sell or share your information. If you’re not selected for an event, your data is securely deleted within 7 days.
  • How is SakoonConnect different from other platforms or apps?
We’re not online. We're not casual. And we’re not for games. SakoonConnect hosts real-world events with real people — fully vetted, alcohol-free, and built for serious, respectful connection.
  • What does SakoonConnect offer?
SakoonConnect offers premium, in-person, alcohol-free events for faith-based and non-faith-based singles who are serious about finding their spouse. We’re not a dating app or matchmaking service — just real-life connection, reimagined.
  • Can I attend future events if I’m not selected this time?
Definitely. This is only the beginning. We plan to host more events for various age groups, preferences, and cities in the future insha’Allah. Just join the official waiting list at SakoonConnect.com and you’ll be the first to know.
  • What’s not allowed at the event?
Disrespectful or inappropriate behaviour Asking for or exchanging personal contact info during the event (unless structured or facilitated) Taking photos, videos, or content of any kind Any conduct that goes against the respectful, halal nature of the event We reserve the right to remove anyone who violates these terms
  • How does the matching process work?
You RSVP or Book a 1:1 Consultation To get started, you’ll submit a quick RSVP form and pay a $20 non-refundable fee. This covers our vetting process and helps ensure only serious, aligned participants attend. We Collect Insightful Information We’ll gather details about your personality, values, and preferences to help us curate a balanced and intentional experience. Event Day: Structured & Guided On the day, you’ll be guided through a professionally designed event — including halal icebreakers, structured conversations, and meaningful introductions. Post-Event Follow-Up (If Mutual Interest Exists) If a mutual interest is expressed, we’ll facilitate a respectful exchange of contact information — only with your clear permission.
  • Will any photos or videos be taken during the event?
No. Out of deep respect for your privacy and the sacred intention behind this platform, no photography or videography will take place during the event. This is a safe, private, and secure environment for all attendees.
  • Can I bring a parent or wali? (Muslim specific events only)
Yes — for Muslim attendees, you're welcome to bring a wali or support person. They must: Have a paid ticket Be listed in your RSVP Bring valid ID that matches the registration
  • What does the actual day look like?
Great question — here’s what to expect on the day of the SakoonMatch event: ✅ Check-in Process You must bring your valid Australian government-issued photo ID. If you are bringing a wali, they must also bring their own valid Australian ID, and both of your details must match your registration. No ID = No Entry. This applies to everyone, no exceptions. ✅ Arrival and Seating You’ll arrive at a private venue (address shared with confirmed attendees only). Men and women will be seated separately at first, creating a comfortable, respectful atmosphere. ✅ Event Structure The event will be hosted by a male and female MC We’ll begin with light introductions and guided halal icebreakers to help everyone get to know each other The environment will be relaxed but purposeful — giving you space to talk, listen, and observe without pressure There will be opportunities toward the end of the event to approach or be approached respectfully if mutual interest is there ✅ Wali-Friendly Setup Walis are welcome to attend — but they must have a paid ticket and their own valid ID that matches registration We ask that all guardians also uphold the respectful, marriage-minded tone of the event ✅ Refreshments Light refreshments will be provided throughout This is not speed dating, not a free-for-all, and not an awkward social mixer. It’s a structured, respectful, and halal space where everyone present is there for one purpose: marriage.
